Cheney is a hard place to be at for sure! The atmosphere between the kids is a tough thing to deal with anything you bring to the attention of our administration you can bet that nothing will get done! Through my years at a cheney I’ve been lucky here and there getting a couple good teachers sadly a lot have either retired or moved schools I’ve known some teachers that have moved because of the problems with the kids in our school as well as the click issues with teachers and gossip and so forth. Despite all of this I would say I’ve gotten an okay education but if I had the chance to switch schools I definitely would jump at the opportunity!

While Cheney High School has wonderful teachers that properly prepare students for entering the workforce or going onto college, Cheney High School's facilities are old and outdated and no longer accomodate the growing population of the Cheney School District. During lunchtime students sit in the hallways or in classrooms because the cafeteria cannot accomodate all the students in the school.
Music and the Arts are provided excellent instructors, but are not given the resources and facillities they need, and athletics is often privledged when funding is awarded.
I like most of my teachers, most of them seem to care about their students and will help them in any way they can. The administration is too much about business. It seems like they are only in it for the money. But the office secretary's are amazing!
