I feel that Chelsea High School gave me the best education, opportunities, and tools to succeed I could have asked for. I had amazing teacher who helped me excel not only academically, but also in aspects of my life. The one thing I feel the my community lacks is diversity. In my graduating class of 232 students, only eight represented a race other than Caucasian. Where we are from shapes so much of who we are and I truly wish that I could have had the opportunity in high school to get a better education, not academically, but culturally.
Review Chelsea High School
Chelsea is all around recognized for our outstanding extracurriculars. In one fall sports season alone, fifteen of Chelsea's fall sports teams brought back some type of championship award. Our coaches are committed, knowledgeable, great people.

Our music department is remarkable. In my four years of high school music, our whole department (Band, Choir, Orchestra) have together traveled to great places. We have been to Philadelphia, and New York. In Philadelphia, we played in a Regional contest and brought home every single gold trophy available. In New York City, we had the opportunity to play a performance in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. It was an amazing experience.

Along with music and athletics, I know that we have an outstanding art department, and a phenomenal Robotics club.
Attending athletic events in chelsea versus at an opponents home field are completely different environments. It is not just the parents that make athletics special but the entire community. People from all ages come out to support sporting events and since Chelsea is such a small town, these courts and fields are also the social hub. Parents have taught the importance of good sportsmanship which makes watching and playing an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is encouraging and competitive. I wouldn't trade this high school experience for any other one because it is the student body and the support that every sport has that makes this unique place.
