My years at CSAS have been incredibly enriching. Beyond academic knowledge, I've gained profound insights into life itself. The school nurtured critical thinking, urging me to question, analyze, and form my own opinions. CSAS instilled discipline and a strong work ethic in me. Demanding coursework taught me time management, perseverance, and the ability to handle pressure—skills invaluable in academics and life. Extracurricular activities were pivotal, allowing me to explore passions, develop leadership skills, and give back to the community. The school emphasized teamwork, fostering collaboration skills. The diverse, inclusive environment fostered empathy, tolerance, and cultural awareness. It made me appreciate the richness of diversity and the strength of unity. Resilience, a key lesson, helped me overcome setbacks, driving me to strive for excellence. CSAS has not just equipped me with knowledge but with life skills, values, and character development that have shaped me.
It was a haze. No one really bothered anyone and the teachers seemed to be genuinely invested in our development. CSAS was not typical; it did not function as others did. Instead, all of us, including those who would come from a sister school just blended and functioned in this not-so normal where we had no uniform, free expression in art, extracurriculars, music, relationships far greater than the average student-teacher. It was a haze because in our tucked away paideia school we all found our own vibe and no one judged. Because all the grand moment and the small ones in between flowed together so gracefully. It was a beautiful haze and I would not do it again but am grateful to have experienced such freedom and expression anyhow.
This school was a pretty good school. Some of the teachers were really helpful and taught pretty well. I have learned a lot from this School and they have helped me prepare for college as much as they could. Honestly I don’t really think there’s much to change but many teachers left this year and especially the teachers that were kind of important to the upcoming seniors so I’m not completely sure how these next few years are going to go!
