CSAS is an excellent school. The philosophy and foundation the school was built on is so rewarding and excellent for the kids in this generation. I attended K-12 and I wouldn’t have wanted my schooling done any other way. The teachers really care about each student and the students care about each other! It’s like a small family at CSAS which makes High School a bit easier to get through. CSAS is like no other and they expect greatness, reasons why it’s the 6th best in Tennessee. Athletic department cause use help but other than that, great school!
I have been at CSAS for 13 years. I am a senior this year and will be graduating in May. I have been at CSAS since kindergarten and I have nothing more to say than it is amazing. The community is very welcoming and family-like, the academics are great as CSAS has some of the best test scores for a public school, in Tennesee. The diversity in the school is impeccable. the teachers and faculty are like a second family, as are the students and peers. overall, CSAS is a wonderful school and you should definitely consider it!
CSAS is a school that definitely prepares you for college. Starting all the way from the 6th grade, each class is meant to challenge you and provoke different ways of thinking and learning. From the moment you enter high school each of your core classes are honors, which raises the playing field just a little higher. There is a sense of competitiveness, and there is the occasional drama or incidents, but all in all this school is a great place to actually prepare your children for the future.
