Chatham Middle School Reviews

I love this school. Children are able to find their specific interests through both the classes, the electives, enrichments and clubs. The teachers are supportive and involved. The principal is a ray of sunshine with a great sense of humor and both vice principals are actively involved with the students. My daughter enjoys going to school here.

Administration is overly sensitive. Students are becoming increasingly either emotional or uncontrollable as they enter the high school... Teachers are pretty good though.
Chatham middle school was a terrible experience for me. There were a few good people but for the most part it was a disaster. The kids were extremely mean and some of the teachers even worse. A student was assigned to help me while I had a broken ankle and was on crutches. I had a teacher force that student to leave me so I would have to carry my books on my own. The teacher did not help and watched as I struggled to carry my books and fell on my broken ankle as a result. I ended up switching to a different middle school as a result of the horrible things that went on while I was a student at Chatham middle school. My honest advice is to send your kid else where for middle school but let them come back for high school. The high school is much better than the middle school.
