Chatham Hall has given me the chance to further my education alongside girls who truly care and support one another. The teachers are so encouraging and are always willing to help you in any way they can. The students are welcoming and truly are a community. I could not imagine my life without the past two years at Chatham Hall. If you are considering applying or attending, please do! The time I spent there is truly special to me and I think it will be for you too.

While I do have mixed opinions of my time at Chatham Hall, I can say that it helped prepare me to be a young leader. There are many faculty and student mentors that ensure you feel safe and happy. I will say, I did struggle with mental health at Chatham Hall and my situation was handled very poorly. Luckily, the former dean of students Nicole Brown and former rector Suzanne Buck left. After they left, the school became immediately better. The rules are a little too strict. Girls should not be suspended or expelled for simply having a vaping device. They need to experience normal teenage activities. That being said, Chatham Hall will forever be me home and has taught me life-long lessons I will never forget. Even though there were problems regarding mental health and inclusivity I will definitely send my daughter to Chatham Hall in the future.
I was just a student at Chatham for 6 months b/c the administration pushed me out due to dealing with some mental health struggles. They forced me into counseling by saying if I didn't, they would kick me out. The dean that did all of these terrible things is now fortunately gone but most of the people I started my experience with ending up leaving the school before their 4 years were up. The school is really ONLY good for their riding program and most of the girls in it aren't even riding in college or training after their college programs end. I found the academics disappointing as well. I was extremely underprepared when I went back to my public school. At Chatham, my algebra class was taught on an iPad even though we had a math teacher in the room capable of teaching us. I learned absolutely nothing and my roommate situation was a nightmare and when I asked to switch into to the empty room across the hall, they accused me of being "racist" because my roommate was an intl student.
