Charlotte Senior High School Reviews

I like that the school had routines and goals. At the beginning of the year every student would go into our big auditorium and look at our improvement on testing. Many teachers would push us the older we got to practice and get ready for these tests as well. Something they need work on though is getting a better program for sports and requiring more activities to get better.
I love the teachers a faculty! I would have liked for there to be more opportunity for senior projects that could potentially have a positive effect on our community.
Charlotte High school is a very special place, there I have met many outstanding people who have changed my life for the better, the teachers there care about their students so much and sacrifice a lot to be there for us. Charlotte has an amazing athletic dome that provides student-athletes and their supporters a great environment to experience high school sports. The project success course also offers a great alternative learning environment to those students who wish to not get the traditional education or struggle. Not many other schools will provide that. The school also has a great school police officer named officer carol. He is friendly and always offers a helpful hand. The community has also just passed a bond that will improve the school even more, with new addictions like tennis courts, an auxiliary gym, improved FFA resources and more! The faculty, students, family and many others have lead to me having a great experience at Charlotte high school.
I would say my experience at Charlotte High School was very good because I made a lot of connections with the teachers and students. High School in general is an experience you won't forget. Even the obstacles I've faced have taught me amazing things not just in general but also about myself. Some things I would change about Charlotte High School is definitely the community at my school. The Atmosphere at my school can be struggling sometimes when it comes to people. Bullying is definitely a problem at my school, my school enforces the no-bullying policy but nothing is ever done about bullying. The friends I have made and the people I have connected with are amazing and I'm sad to go to college and not see their faces anymore but I know for sure we will always stay in touch. I also think some teachers don't try to understand or know us as a person. It's most of the time based on how smart you are. For me, I'm a good student and try my hardest but I feel as if I'm defined as a score.
We had very nice facilities such as the classrooms, gym, and aquatic center. However, I feel college readiness needed some improvement. What we got taught did not prepare us as much as I should have been prepared for college.
They have a great agricultural program and FFA Chapter. The classes are smaller allowing for your to have more one on one time with the teachers. The teachers are very good at their jobs and really try to help you the best they can. They also have a great athletic program.
I really enjoyed my classes, especially the ones dealing with the ag/ffa program. But wish I could've gotten more in person/one on one FASFA and college help.
I love how small of a school it is; you know everybody. this has created a sense of family, and closeness. I have been able to create meaningfully, and amazing relationships with teachers and students.
I transferred from Potterville Public Schools to Charlotte High School (CHS) the start of my Freshman year after my parents had gotten divorced. I was completely against the school and I absolutely did not want to be there. My parents made the choice for me and I opposed to their decision every chance I saw. But, over the course of my time at CHS I realized that switching schools was for the better. I realized I had no reason to dislike or hate what the school had to give me. I was even able to participate in my favorite sport and eventually become captain and lead an amazing team swimmers. CHS has offered me so many opportunities to become a great student and one of the greatest attributes, I believe the school has, is that they offer pathways for students. These pathways offered are basically boiled down to a begginers, intermediate, and advanced pathways. My overall experience at Charlotte High School has been, to me, life changing and absolutely and positively wonderful.
The teachers are nice and understanding of the students. Students are welcoming to new students. I wish more could be done to solve a few of the schools problems.
I have grew up in Charlotte most my life, and it has been nothing but good to me. I appreciate all of my teachers and I know they feel the same way about me. It has let me expand my knowledge, appreciation, and my gratefulness towards Charlotte. Everything I have learned here has applied to real life, and letting me use my toolbox to approach new obstacles. Charlotte has my condolences and my respect for who they are and what they do. GO ORIOLES!
Charlotte High School has poor administration, a racist community, and not much ever gets done about it. There are some great teachers, and some poor teachers. There is no diversity.
Going to charlotte for my whole high school career. The teachers are nice and most know how to teach but they could be a little better they are not terrible. They are very caring they make sure you are always doing good they ask how your day is going and things like this. Athletics they usually stick with the same coaches for years even if they are not the best coaches.
As a new student in her freshman year my daughter felt welcomed as part of the athletic group. She was able to transition into public school with the help of great teachers who seemed fully engaged. The least favorite part of the school was the food. It was tasteless, unimaginative, gross and unappealing. The administration was willing to work around some strange ruling to make the high school experience possible.
There are a lot of great programs included at this school including: Band, Sports, and more. The program that I enjoyed the most was LINKS because of the fact that you are able to work with students who have disabilities one on one and help them inside of the classroom and get to know them outside the classroom as well.
I love the positivity that not only surrounds the school, but the whole community of Charlotte. There are many opportunities to experience positivity and love throughout an education system and whole town.
Charlotte is a small community that is very welcoming. The students are very accepting of each other in comparison to other schools. However, administration does not help in advancing the school system. They are very tight on their budget, sometimes making it difficult for students to have the opportunities other schools do.
