(PT2) The school focuses on little problems & don’t focus on the pluming. Since freshman year there have been says where the school closes down because of then pluming. Recently they close bathrooms & water came out of the floor and ceiling, absolute disgusting. The counselor that I have is so useless. The lunch is good but unhealthy. A new cheese rule was applied. recently I had to pay 3.75 for going over filling the small bowl by a little bit. Sophomores don’t have the opportunity to take AP classes but at other school that option is available. This is apparently applied because they don’t want us to run out of Classes to take. The mass is awful the priest doesn’t relate to the scripture & the gym is so cold. The uniform policy is okay but a bit strict about having uniform pants from lands end. The only sweaters we can wear have to be only from catholic. Other wise you get it taken for the rest of the day. not to mention how cold the School is. This school CAN do better!

There are two different academic mindsets. 1. too competitive over grades to possibly be healthy, and 2. not caring at all about what your grades are. I definitely felt pressured to take classes that were too hard for me. Your success in a class is totally a hit or miss based off of the teacher. There's very little diversity especially among students in top classes. Almost everyone comes from a similar socioeconomic background. Religion classes are annoying, it's basically the same class over and over again for all four years of high school that could be replaced with something more beneficial. With the exception of retreats, little effort is put into making religion something kids are enthusiastic about. We can't even sing remotely modern songs in church.
Not awful, but I do feel like, overall, it's not worth its price yet. If there were healthier options in the caf, updated uniforms,& the upcoming fine arts building- I suppose. There were incidents for the past 3 years to my knowledge where the pipe system didn't work. This year, dirty water made its presence on the floors in the commons, in the caf, & in the bathrooms. We couldn't use several girl bathrooms for weeks, but with an old building - it happens, & they're doing repairs in the summer. The principal& other heads of the school are kind, but should focus more on the wellbeing of their students' mental states than if their shirttails are tucked in. Unpopular opinion, but I actually like having monthly masses even if they aren't too interactive or engaging. I've found great people I can get along with, I try my hardest in my classes,&I know that that is enough. I've made my experience what I could so far. Although if you don't play sports and look different -Good luck Charlie :)
