I enjoyed going to school at Charles W. Flanagan for the friends I made while I was there, some of which I still have at my university. My favorite class while in high school was physics. Being exposed to it here while in my senior year showed me how interesting it could be. So much so that I decided to major in it! Overall, even given the numerous incidents that occurred during my time there (2012-2016), easily found with a quick Google search, I believe that Charles W. Flanagan High School helped shape me into the person I am today, and has guided me towards where I want to go in my future.

My experience at Charles W. Flanagan was a mixed bag. Some of my teachers seemed to be biased towards other students, and the guidance counselors could also be misleading. However, I was given many opportunities at Flanagan including dual enrollment and AP courses that got me where I am today. Thanks to Flanagan, I have received a admission to the University of Notre Dame and started ahead due to the college courses I took in high school. In the future, I would like to see more controlled classrooms, and more caring teachers and counselors. Sometimes, it seemed as though they did not want you to succeed. Overall though, you are given possibilities success, and every student should take advantage of it.
I have mixed emotions/feelings about Charles W. Flanagan High School. Mainly because it has it's highs and lows. One thing I like about the school is it's teachers. The teachers are very nice and are really good at teaching and helping the kids. I also like how they tried to keep everyone safe, and I like the friends that I've made there; which made my experience even better. But, with every high there's a low and Flanagan tends to mostly be an outside school so there's a lot of animals such as: cats, foxes, raccoons, etc. These animals tend to poop everywhere in the school and it smells absolutely rancid, sometimes the janitors cant get everywhere so the scent just sits there before they can get to it and it lingers, it's just gross. I also don't like the food but that's every school, and there's so much drama which makes the school entertaining but sometimes it gets tiring seeing and hearing peoples drama early in the morning all the time. That's my experience at High School.
