I have mixed emotions/feelings about Charles W. Flanagan High School. Mainly because it has it's highs and lows. One thing I like about the school is it's teachers. The teachers are very nice and are really good at teaching and helping the kids. I also like how they tried to keep everyone safe, and I like the friends that I've made there; which made my experience even better. But, with every high there's a low and Flanagan tends to mostly be an outside school so there's a lot of animals such as: cats, foxes, raccoons, etc. These animals tend to poop everywhere in the school and it smells absolutely rancid, sometimes the janitors cant get everywhere so the scent just sits there before they can get to it and it lingers, it's just gross. I also don't like the food but that's every school, and there's so much drama which makes the school entertaining but sometimes it gets tiring seeing and hearing peoples drama early in the morning all the time. That's my experience at High School.

Many AP classes are offered along with many other extracurricular courses available for students to take at their leisure. Those are all the positives I have found. Rather than depending solely on your performance, your grade in a course also dependent on what teacher you get. There have been many times where people have had a much easier time taking a course compared to their peers taking the same course but with different teachers. In AP courses, this is seen at its worse due to the immense difference in AP scores seen between the different teachers. They also think collective punishments are effective when they have done nothing, such as dealing with vaping in the bathroom where people still do it no matter how many times they lock the best bathroom in the back of the campus. Their attempts to try and instill mental awareness in this school end illy as the student body shares little to no interest in the activities we are forced to do.
Even though I came to Flanagan high school as a junior, I was still able to have all my needs supplied in an effort to enhance my learning experiences. Throughout my challenging junior year, Flanagan and its resources has taught me the important of making a difference and college preparedness. Overall Flanagan is an outstanding environment with much diversity and every peer you encounter helps to shape your persona when it comes to education. If there is one thing that I could change about my high school, it wouldn't be a thing at all worth changing because I have never experienced an opportunity this grand!
