Drew is a wonderful school, and overall I've had the best experience ever. We have plenty of resources and offer free SAT testing. We have a college ambassador( only school in the county who does)who helps get people into college and give you everything you need for when you graduate high school. Weather you wanna go to college, the military or even just work after high school. We have job and college fairs and even have college visits. At drew, the teachers aren't just teachers who talking about "school" , they keep it real and actually talk about the real word and get you prepared and ready to be on your own and how to be successful. We are busy at Drew and there's so much help. You will never feel alone or lost. Yes, we have tons of fun but at the same time we are all about education! I love Charles R Drew and I love being a Titan!
Charles R. Drew high school is a great school. The diversity is what brings us all together. However there are some imperfections but not every school is perfect. There are many clubs and sports you can join as well as band, choir, orchestra, and guitar! My favorite things about this school is, if you're struggling in a certain subject or even with other things outside of school, 2 out of 4 teachers you have will always be willing to listen and give you advice if you want it.
Charles R. Drew High School is a decent school. The teachers in my experience have been there to actually teach and not just there to collect a check and seem to care about students. There are a lot of events, good and bad, that happen to the students. The only change I would like to see is better counseling and providing students with a better understanding of how scholarships, college applications, and dual enrollment function in their early high school years so that by the time of graduation students are well informed and are more prepared when making choices on their education like participating in dual enrollment or where to find scholarships so by the time of graduation students have earned scholarships.
