I love being a part of the eagle family at Chapin High School! It is refreshing to be surrounded by teachers and administrators that are invested in the success of their students. The staff inspired me to pursue a career in education. Although I wish CHS was more diverse, I enjoyed attending this school thoroughly and could not have had a better high school experience.

Chapin High School is strong in the academics and athletics arena but it is tough for the students who aren't like everyone else. The diversity is poor so if you are different it could be hard to find friends but the teachers are always willing to help. There are tons of clubs and activities for all students to join so anyone can be capable of finding friends and being able to fit it. Every student is able to succeed academically through all of the resources that the school offers for extra help and tutoring. The academics at Chapin High School are like no other and every student is college, work force, or military ready because of the teachers and administration. Chapin High School is like no other and every student who attends is talented in their own way.
I grew up in Chapin and therefore went through the school systems, all the way from Elementary until I graduated. Through my time there, I can take away the fact that when I got to college, I felt more prepared than I ever thought I wouldve. Its a great school, in a great district, in an amazingly safe area. The athletics, especially cheerleading, are the pride of Chapin, having won state in 5 different divisions for the past 14 years consecutively. The band program is also amazing, having won state twice while I was there. They also travel during the concert season too, and have received many awards. The school isn't very diverse, but many different types of students are coming for the type of education you receive. Chapin has many different learning opportunities as well. I went through the Health Science program in my time there and actually graduated as CPR Certified and with my CNA Certification, which allowed me to work in a nursing home over the summer before I started college.
