I have a 9th and 11th grader currently at CHAMPS and we’re really pleased. The school values the uniqueness of each student - from those who already have a passion/talent to those still exploring. It’s also been a good school academically, offers several AP classes and has helpful college counselors. We attended a talk last year where CHAMPS seniors gave tips and advice. This particular group included students going off to Stanford, Duke, Brown, Point Park, UCs and CSUs. Dance students have gotten into top companies and conservatories. The student body is a talented, diverse, accepting group of kids and the staff and counselors have been helpful and supportive. We feel very fortunate to have discovered this school. (Fyi, other academies include award-winning robotics, media arts, global impact and more.)

My daughter is a senior at CHAMPS and my older daughter graduated from CHAMPS in 2018. We feel so fortunate to have found this school and it's incredible teachers and staff. Students are able to explore and enhance their talents in the many academies, including theater, dance, music, robotics, media, and written arts. Academics can be challenging as CHAMPS offers many AP and honors classes, and teachers understand and incorporate the creativity of their students. If you're looking for a school that is inspiring, diverse, academic, and innovative, then you should visit CHAMPS.
When I came to CHAMPS as a freshman, I was very shy. Thanks to the amazing music academy, I was able to grow out of that shyness and develop confidence. This was mainly because of the performances that I would participate in. My classmates made me feel like I had a second family and their support really helped in my growth. Since graduating, I still keep in contact with the friends I made there and apply the techniques I learned to my performances today. You can learn about history, math, English, and other subjects at any other high school, but there's only one school that can really change the way you look at the performing arts.
