Champs is a school for the performing arts. At Champs you are not judged if your hair is pink or purple, if your a boy and you wear nail polish, we are all students trying to discover who we are and what we want to be. Champs is the school that allows you to express yourself in a school environment so that we can be ourselves. The teachers are supportive and relate to a lot of us as some of them went to the some of the same schools we went to, summer camps, and share their personal side. This lets us know we can succeed the way they did. You can laugh with your teacher and classmates and learn from mistakes to improve on flaws we have. Champs is academically structured to help all of us learn what classes help us with our strong points and not so strong points too. College counselors to get an idea more or less how you want to move forward from high school and proceed in life. Its a small campus, not football field or track, but theres dance and ballet and theatre. Good Luck!

I have been going to CHAMPS since my second semester of 9th grade. It’s a small but diverse school. Everyone is quite friendly, the teachers are okay but I feel like they could do more to encourage their students to try their best. They do allow you to express yourself creatively through their assignments. If you look and take advantage of their resources, you should be good, but they are not going to take initiative to tell you to do it. You must take initiative for yourself to get it done. You must ask questions, talk to your peers, and do research on your own. If you do not understand something it is best that you take action. Their music and dance program is good. I am currently in my junior year in the Liberal Arts Academy and am in student council. There are several issues with school spirit that I am going to address. This school is unique and has potential, but the students in it just need words of wisdom and I plan to help accomplish that.
CHAMPS used to be much better; but as times have changed our school is learning to adjust. The bond between student body and administration must be healed, and teacher retention must improve as we have lost many outspoken figures, but overall the deep rooted CHAMPS culture is still there. If you want to have a school experience with influential teachers who respect you on a human to human level, with a rich culture chock-full of the Valley, and a melting pot student body, this is the place to come. It isn't your normal high school but please- come with respect and an open creative mind.
