Being a part of this school gave me so many opportunities to grow as a successful student. My freshman year was insanely rough making the switch from middle to high school, but by my sophomore year my teachers and peers showed me how to become a true scholar. I’ve made so many great connections and am proud of the education I was given at CMS!
As a student who’s been at the school for more than two years, I’d say it’s been quite the experience. CMS gave me a chance to interact with amazing people, and I really appreciate how fast it is to get to classes. The teachers here are phenomenal, and they make my busy life a bit more enjoyable. When I’m in my classes, I feel as if I’m actually learning something, rather than taking in information that I don’t quite understand. One downfall would be the classes, for I feel there should be more variety. I was really disappointed when I went to the school, and I found out they didn’t really have any classes that I wanted to take, such as art classes or music. If you’re into robotics and technology, this school would be the perfect haven for you. Overall, the school is remarkable, and it holds a very special place in my heart.
Chambersburg Area Career Magnet School is a very humble school to attend. The overall school is small so there aren't too many large overwhelming groups of students. All of the teachers are friendly and are willing to help students as soon as they can. A change I would like to see about the school is communication with parents and students including future plans. Sadly, whenever the school year starts the bus schedules do not get delivered until the day before school starts. Other than this issue I would highly suggest going to Chambersburg Area Career Magnet School.
