This school has a lot of extracurricular activities for students to be involved in if they take advantage of them. They offer a variety of sports such as: Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball, Cross Country, Golf and Tennis. All sports programs are taught by wonderful teachers/coaches that actually take the time to make sure the kids are training well and are prepared for games and meets. As for clubs there is so many to choose from. Challenger offers: Art Club, History Club, Sign Language, Thespian/Drama, Student Government, National Junior Honor Society, Spanish, Writing, Inventors, Bullying Club and so much more! These clubs are fun to join and some even have field trip opportunities.

My son is in his 2nd year at Challenger and I can't say enough good things about it. He has excellent grades, has excelled socially and is much more outgoing in a very positive way. I would recommend Challenger Middle to any parent.
Most of the students there are very fortunate when getting what they want as far as the newest phone, the latest pair of shoes etc. So for the ones who don't just get whatever they want it can be a little awkward. There are definitely those cliques who think they are better than everyone else, but as far as bullying they wouldn't go that far. For the most part the school is pretty good about controlling bullying and the students are pretty respectful towards others. When it comes to race there isnt really an issue. All races get along and communicate with each other well.
