I enjoyed Century High School because it was a very welcoming environment the minute I stepped into the building. Coming from middle school to high school changed my perspective drastically. It was okay to be different and it was okay to be smart. I am a shy person and coming to a school with over 1000 kids made my anxiety skyrocket but the people there helped me find my place. One thing I would tell anyone who is just coming in to high school is that everyone finds a place with the right people and the right teachers so do not be afraid of those seniors running through the halls they are actually very sweet! Another tip would be to get involved, it is nerve-racking at first but it is so worth it. Century does a great job of getting the word out or join clubs because the students make lifelong friends there. Best decision ever to attend Century!

My four years at Century were great! The staff there truly does care about preparing you for wherever you go after high school, college or not. Century has a fantastic environment and is filled with students who are dedicated in whatever they are passionate about. It doesn't matter if it's sports, academics, SGA, or the arts, you will always find students working hard to perfect their craft. There are so many opportunities to get involved at Century though various clubs and organizations as well. It is the administration's and staff's goal to make sure that their students are well rounded and ready for the future. I am extremely thankful for Century's help in my development as a student.
I first joined Century High School a year ago and can confidently state that it prepares me for the future. The school is invested in the success of its students, offering everyone various opportunities. There are tutors and guidance counselors available to assist with academic development. No school is perfect, and while the cafeteria food is better than most middle school’s food, it needs to be improved. Also, there are minor comfort/convenience issues that could be addressed, but all major needs, such as academic and extracurricular opportunities, are fulfilled. There are many clubs in the school which satisfy a large range of interests and athletic disciplines including the robotics club and lacrosse team, allowing everybody to have a place where they can be themselves and test their skills. Century High School is structured to promote student success.
