Century High School Reviews
Rating 4.1 out of 5 389 reviews
Century is an incredible school with a mostly wonderful staff full of teachers who deeply care about their students and have a passion for teaching. It has very competitive athletics that continue to have successful season as well as a positive environment and high team moral. I truly do feel that I as a student has the ability to call for change within our school and that my suggestion will be considered and not just cast aside. There are so many opportunities for students to be involved whether it be through the countless student led clubs, student government, and honor societies there is a place for everyone.
At Century High school, they like to say that we have the best school in the county. This may be true based on the looks of the school, but everything else is pretty average. Most of the teachers are great and care a lot about their students. But I have experienced that some of the teachers act like they are still in high school. There have been instances where the teachers would gossip about students with other teachers in-front of the whole class. Also, the students at the school range from many different cultures and backgrounds. This is great and makes for a pretty good school environment. But it also leads to some bullying and fights over racist remarks. If teenagers could learn to keep things to themselves and respect others, the school would be a better place. But I have a feeling that this type of thing happens at other schools all over the country.
Century High School is a very good environment for students and has a lot of caring and dedicated teachers. In my experience, I have been treated very nicely and with respect by all my teachers and I believe Century High School does a good job of recommending good opportunities to the students. I have been able to take courses here that are not offered at other schools and have been able to take many rigorous courses as well. I am grateful that I have been able to go to Century High School and especially love the people there and the environment created. Also, the inside of the school is very pretty and well maintained and cleaned.
