For a small town school in the middle of North Dakota, I was pleasantly surprised about my experience at Century High! I moved a lot as a teenager (attending 4 high schools total), and my experience at Century High was by far the best.
The classes and teachers were excellent. The teachers love their job and they relate to students. We had fun, but we still learned a lot. Century High gives the opportunity to take classes at the local community college and receive high school credit. It definitely helped me prep for college.
The sports games were lively and filled with school spirit, the theater department always put on great plays, and the dances were always packed. The only downside of Century High is the location. The city itself is very small and there is little to do. The food at the cafeteria is mediocre at best, but there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance of the school. The school budget is small, so events aren’t too fancy, but everyone brings a good spirit.

High school was one of the best parts of my life. I loved the school spirit, the amazing teachers I had, the lifelong friendships I made, the ability to be challenged in academics, the sporting events, and the school lunches were good! I did a lot of sports, music, and clubs at my school, so I got to see all the different activities and variety Century has to offer. Some things to change would be afding more clubs like a sewing or backing club and otters like that, but we do have a gamers club so I would say we’re getting there.
I love Century High! The atmosphere is amazing. All of the student body is willing to help each other out and always has amazing school spirit. The students are constantly working on ways to make the community better as a whole. The teacher are also so helpful. They will go above and beyond out of their way to help any student in need, no matter of academic help or other help. There is a variety of clubs and organizations from DECA (Business) to HOSA (Healthcare). The staff does a great job for the transition from high school to college. They help you with every step of the way without being overbearing. I could not have attended a better high school then the one I go to right now!
