Central valley lets you have many different opportunities to find what is best for you. Central Valley high school also has a very good school spirit that helps to add to a feeling of community. The student-led leadership strives greatly to be constantly improving Central Valley. This also gives the students peace of mind in knowing that a fellow student has some say over their high school experience. However, Central Valley is too crowded which leads to teachers not able to give the proper attention to each individual students. Despite this set back through the teachers try their best to help each student.

This high school is truly my pride and joy.
I love coming to school everyday because I know that I am going to learn. There's not a day that goes by that I think to myself, "I wish I had gone to University High School", East Valley, or Mount. Spokane.
The high school is a beauty, she has a stain glass window, two stories filled with professional brilliant teachers passionate about their jobs who teach students passionate about learning.
There is SO MANY classes and programs from painting and photography to Russian and German, to Robotics and dance/drama, to marketing and DECA.
I love the lunch lady's but to be honest the food is no bueno... However there is pizza hut on tuesdays and our sports programs are phenomenal. The sports get so much funding so are well equipped!
Lastly we have tennis courts, we are right in the middle of town, and Central Valley Bears have "honor and glory".
My experience at Central Valley High School was excellent; however there were certain moments that could have been improved. The activities put together by the students at Central Valley High School were fantastic and helped students work together and bond with new people. There were several opportunities throughout my high school years that provided students with the chance to meet new people, get out of their comfort zones, and also participate in sports, fun rivalries, high school spirit, and even volunteer work. The only thing that I would have liked to see changed at the high school, is really enforcing a community at the school. Central Valley High School does a great job of making sure the students feel welcome and comfortable; however, there could definitely still be work done to improve the "cattiness" and "cliques" that are still present among teenagers. Bullies need to go away as well! Maybe a program for against bullying can be established.
