I really enjoyed my time at Central Valley High School not only because of the school culture, but because the teachers are the best there. They go out of their way to make sure EVERY student is successful. Enough cannot be said about the administrators on top, because they strive to prepare students to have a smooth transition from high school to college and equip them with resources. They have personally helped me also because at this school, the teachers have kickstarted me into my future career and I am forever grateful. GO HAWKS!

Central Valley High School is a great school to attend to! Teachers are always pushing you to do your hardest and give you advice or ideas on what to do after high school. CVHS prepares you for the real life and I couldn’t be any more happier to be attending this school. Another great thing about this school is that they help you with college applications, scholarships, and FASFA. Most schools have you do everything on your own but CV helps all students succeed in having a future.
What I really like about Central Valley High School is that the environment fosters a sense of unity and acceptance of diverse opinions and backgrounds. I thoroughly enjoy always having a supporting staff and students there to help me when needed. The only complaint I have of this school (besides the food) is that it babies the students too much. I understand the desire to make sure that every student is doing ok and receiving their education while also having a support group, but not enough pressure is put on students to actually want to succeed as an individual. Most of the time, it seems like the students are only succeeding because others want them to succeed. Fear of failing to do so makes good, smart students turn to cheating, Google searches, and copying. This system makes it seem like a student's success was a group effort rather than an individual one.
