I say this as a LGBT+ alumni who was there for almost my entire highschool and middleschool period.
It's a great school for elementary students and has pretty good disability help but it can't help from being what its name states, a Christian, close-minded, and if you read their guidebook, is very willing to kick children out if they openly support or state they are in anyway associated with LGBT+. Many members who work in the school have stated some unsatisfactory opinions on a slew of topics but fortunately, their English reading choices are very open and don't prevent people from reading by some standards "banned" books. It's quite a college ready school. It works well with a dual credit class or two so it does its best with the budget it has to make every student college ready.
As an adult looking at it logically and looking past what personally effected me - 8/10
As an adult who personally experienced it and is a minority of almost every way - 3/10

I love Central Texas Christian School! I have been attending CTCS since I was in Pre-K 3. I have so many friends there that I have grown up with for my entire educational career. The faculty and staff are extremely relational and they desire to have a personal affiliation with you. This school is very engaging in classroom discussions and the work load is moderate. The teachers are outstanding! It's a great school that prepares their students for college. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else for a Christian education.
As a former student, in my experience, you should send your children elsewhere. There is an overwhelming bias towards athletic performance (which isn’t that surprising), a VERY narrow perspective on what Christian education looks like, and teachers with their own political agendas. My religious background was Protestant but still different from the Southern Baptist’s norm, and I was called out on it many times over the years. I’ve seen teachers visibly upset students because of their faith background. The diversity is joke. However, there were a handful of teachers that were really committed to being good teachers. Unfortunately, In almost every circumstance, the Administration drove them away.
