I am currently a senior of Central Medical Magnet High School, in Beaumont, Tx. In fact, my class, 2018, is the last graduating class to graduate under the name "Central High School". Although, rocky at first, especially this year, considering the students of Central are no longer able to attend the actual building, due to Hurricane Harvey. My experiences along with my memories at Central were a blast! If I had to choose a high school to have these experiences once more, my choice would remain the same, that being

My experience while attending Beaumont Central was amazing. I've made so many wonderful friends that gives me a chance to have a lifetime relationship with them. In addition, the afterschool activities I was involved in was fun as well. Unfortunately, my high school has closed down and is merging with another high school. One desire I would have love to happen is for my alma mater to remain opened. The class of 2018 are the last class of Central Senior High School. Central is no longer a high school anymore after this past Saturday.
Spending my 3 (soon 4) years at Central, I notice that most of the students are not motivated to do work. The school environment is unmotivational and teacher's teaching methods are becoming outdated. Traditional style learning is becoming dull losing the interests of students. Even though Central would problem be no more due to Harvey, I want the new combined school, Beaumont United, to atleast become that new and improved environment for students to be more interested in learning.
