If it weren’t for the good teachers and a few of the staff, I would have given no stars... if they could find other ways to make school not fun they would in a heart beat! Parents are actually discouraged to get involved. No lunches with kids, no birthday fun, no celebrations, no parades, no accomplishment acknowledged. It’s like a boot camp for elementary students. It’s changed so much in the past three years... so happy that my child will not be attending next year.
On another note. Thank you to the awesome teachers that were were blessed to have and thank you for trying to make learning fun even though you were discouraged to do so.

Our son is only in Kindergarten there so we don't have a ton of experience with this school but I have always only heard good things and what we have seen in our time having our son enrolled is wonderful. They are extremely organized, lots of parent involvement, kind and enthusiastic teachers, and great kids. I am excited for his future years here!
We have had a wonderful 5 years at Central Park Elementary. Every teacher has been dedicated to enriching our child's life. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. From the front office staff to the aftercare counselors. They also offer a great summer camp program that some of the teachers and counselors run. It's a shame that the previous post didn't have the same experience.
