As many people do say, "middle school sucked." Honestly, other than the fact that I was close to home and had a few activities I enjoyed, I would say the same. I feel like the school needs to definitely redo it's facilities and overall look more vibrant. The administration is strict and needs to loosen up to be able to reach the students. One thing I would definitely praise is the music program here. As a former Orchestra student, I felt at home and at peace in that environment. We had great teachers and good vibes. Also a shoutout to Mr. Gent, Mr. Ryan, and Ms. Kerstetter! Definitely some of the teachers that I would want to have again, who created a fun and very hands-on learning environment!
My teacher were great in 8th. The school prompted me to go to collage and will be going to UF next year due to scholarships that my teacher told me to apply for. They helped me with catching up with work and were understanding on my situations and helped me get through it. The basketball team was fun and the school is very "about" sports. I wish this was a high school and wish it would have lasted longer. This school made me want to got to school everyday and the faculty was very on top of problems with students and if there was home issues they would help you through it and make sure that you were ok. Shout out to Mrs. Powers who helped me get through my life.
I liked how the teachers helped prepare us for high school. Id like to see the volleyball team return. I was told many years ago that they use to have one but stopped it. Thatll be great help for those upcoming freshman that are looking to play on a high school level.
