Starting off at Central I was very nervous coming in all because I didn’t know what to expect. Just one month into school I had lots of friends and was enjoying my experience. The teachers were very nice and the classes had a challenge. Every student was willing to help one another throughtout the hallways and weighing the classroom. You’re given the chance to become apart of a magnet with business, law, sports marketing, nursing, dentistry and even vet. The school obtains so many opportunities to become successful in your next step up in life and higher education. Although Central can be serious about their work just like any school should but, Central also knows how to have a great time. I enjoyed my high school experience at the one and only historically black high school, Central High In Louisville, KY and would love to do it again!

Going to Central is an eye opening experience. Being a historically black school, it was a reliever to be able to attend school with students of similar backgrounds and experiences! There is a plethora of diversity, thanks to the multiple magnets built to solidify career choices. It is a great place to learn about different cultures and be apart of.
Central High School is a great school, actually one of the greatest schools here in Jefferson County Public Schools Louisville, KY. We have changed a lot, but for the better. Central has many opportunities to help yourself and others become a better student and person. Central has different programs to help prepare you for college. The teachers does their job of teaching their subject and helping us to understand it so that we can master it. The many different clubs and activities we have here are beyond great. They give students something productive to do and it also contributes to the community.
