The community here at Central is really diverse and accepting. When you go here, you have this sense of community that you won't feel anywhere else. Everyone here understands that at the end of the day, we're all just trying our best. Everyone here is very respectful towards each other and towards teachers. There are lots of resources that students can access for pretty much any situation. The staff really supports the students fully and clearly wants to see the students succeed.

Central was a very interesting high school to attend. It is in a fairly poverty stricken district, but many well off and even wealthy students attend. As a result it is extremely diverse across socioeconomic, class, and racial divisions. Unfortunately with so many students and not nearly enough staff, many students were lost along the way. I was fortunate to have parents who provided and encouraged me, but the students who didn't struggled and Central was unable to help with many of them. They ended up not ready for college or the working world, and frankly quite lost.
Central High school is an awesome school. There are so many activities and clubs to join to get to know more people. For the most part, everyone is inviting and open to meeting new people. The teachers are always there to help when you need it and care about your wellbeing and grades. Just like other schools, central does have the basic food that no one really likes, but every Wednesday, we have papa Johns and open campus. There are also many learning opportunities and the counselors definitely care about your future. As you go through each grade, your counselor will talk about what you need in order to graduate, help with scholarships, and help you find your future career.
