The school is focused on the students. They go on many academic field trips, the school helps when someone can not afford basic things like shoes or coats. They will work individually with you child for daily tutoring if needed. The students are taught values and morals. These students will make life long friends at this school. The communication between the school and home is superb! And, the school does not just hire anyone. The staff serves as role models and turkey care about each student.
The administration works tirelessly to do everything they can to improve the lives of the students. They are fair, honest, and transparent. Bullying is handled effectively when there is proper communication. The dress code is not overly strict, but could be more conservative. The staff in the office deserve an award for their dedication. In this small school, there is not much controversy. Some people believe that you have to belong to a certain family to succeed. That is not the case. It is based on hard work and determination. The opportunities are available to everyone. This is the only school where students can be involved in every extra curricular activity without exclusion or tryouts. The students do not have to fit into certain groups. Everyone knows each other well, and will go to bat for them.
The school is looking at safety upgrades to keep with the changing times, but I have no concerns. This school is excellent with resources for the students. Often times the staff will purchase items for students if resources can not be found. They go the extra step with washing coats, checking for headlice, and monitoring hygiene of the students.
