Great school, but has relatively limited opportunities and diversity due to its small size. The greatest opportunity it offers is a dual enrollment with Kirkwood, which provides students with free college credits and preparation for the future.

Great small town school. A lot could be updated or improved but overall pretty good. Class sizes are small and give your more time to interact with teachers one on one. A lot of resources and services such as the library is dated, but we do have a good technology system.
Central City High School is located in rural Eastern Iowa. The 2019 graduation class is around 30 students. Having a small class is great for one on one help. It is not so great when it comes to privacy and the availability of resources. Being a small school also means little parent involvement. Overall, I'm happy with going to school in Central City.
