We have nothing but positive things to say about CCA for the preschool and primary (Kindergarten-2nd) grades. The teachers in those levels are top notch & go above and beyond - definitely 5 stars! Sadly, we found beginning in 3rd grade, the teaching & curriculum seriously lacking. 6th grade was a bright spot and those teachers clearly care and work hard to challenge the students. Middle school is okay. The teachers clearly care about the students and try hard to instill a sound biblical view in them though the curriculum in key subjects seems a bit behind the local public schools. Our students will not attend the HS. When we first started at CCA, the administration was extremely strong, godly and caring. Over the years, the school and church administration has changed significantly and in the past two years seems to be more concerned with the school’s “image” and social media presence than issues raised by the students and families.
Being at CCA has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. I have never met such genuine, kind, intentional people. From the business office to the front office to the teachers, every single faculty member cares for one another and the students like family. When you hear that teachers are praying for each individual student even before school starts, you know that you can trust your student to be guided and cared for at the upmost level. Christian schooling is definitely an investment worth making!
I transferred to this school out of public school. I liked it because it's small and very family oriented. The owners/teachers believe in teaching old fashion values and manners. I have a mild disability known as high functioning autism and they were able to teach me in a manner I could learn but also this school has very minimal bullying because they keep everyone in check and responsible. The love is felt by all the students and even after graduation we still come back for traditions that were set up upon entering. They also believe you can do anything you really try at. Like I played on the basketball team even though I had never played sports. They let me play because I wanted to try and even though I really wasnt good at it, they always allowed me to play and not sit on the bench. I was allowed to earn a letter jacket for completing my o e season. No one is allowed to fail emotionally at this school.
