I loved Central Catholic High School! The school was very small compared to the other schools around us and I truly believe that helped me in many ways, such as being able to have a good student to teacher one on one time. This helps me a lot when it comes to my education. But I also believe that this school could improve in some ways. There aren't a lot of different courses that you can take and if they continue to add better options for classes, they will succeed in the future.

Graduated one who's at Purdue and have three more to go. There is not a better institution for our family in Greater Lafayette. Academically CC is one of the best! Recent data shows 100% will graduate, 70% with an honors diploma, and over 92% go on to college. Test scores are important, but what matters to me is how prepared my children are for college and life. CC graduates have the lowest college remediation rate of all area schools. If you look at the IN Commission for Higher Education, recent CC graduates had an avg GPA of 3.3 earning nearly 29 credit hrs in their college freshman yr. Today we live in a complex society, and it is comforting as a parent to be surrounded by a community who is not only committed to my children's success, but constantly reinforcing the importance of a moral compass. We only get one chance as parents. We made the investment to provide our children the best opportunity for success.
My experience at Central Catholic Jr./Sr. High School is great. The school is community-based so many of the parents are involved in helping out at events. The teachers help out both academically and emotionally. The diversity at CC is not good. I found a hard time to fit in since the majority of the school is white. Thankfully the students are kind. The school is great at promoting learning with technology. If the there are any problems regarding the laptops, the tech team will fix it fast. Not only that but the tech team have meetings with any student that wants something unblocked as long as the student has a good reason. The food used to be made by the family members of the students. The school hired a company to make the food. This made the prices go up by a lot. CC has a long selection of sports that students can get into. CC has a pretty good history with sports. The same cannot be said about the clubs.
