I love my school. It is an all boys school. The teachers and the brothers are very strict with everything. Discipline is enforced. It is a school that would allow the students to develop their talents. They can choose whether they just want to be a regular student or take advanced subjects to challenge themselves such as taking honor classes or AP classes. There are all kind of sports or organizations that the students can be a part of. We are encouraged to be well rounded so we can join the marching band, jazz band, debate club, robotics, fencing, and theater. We have a new STEM building for scientific and technical research.Diversity of students are observed. The location for me is convenient. We are safe since bullying of any kind is frowned upon. We also do volunteer works for the community.Central has good amenities and has a large although pricey cafeteria. And tuition is expensive, but its worth it.
I have watched my son who was withdrawn and displayed antisocial behavior develop into a very charismatic young man. He has explored the area of computer programming and attended a 2 week camp at George Mason University to learn to gaming programing in 2D. This is an opportunity that he would not have experienced any where else. He also, attended Penn College's Pennsylvania's Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) which is another opportunity he would have never experienced. This experience for him has been worth every sacrifice made.
