The thing that I mostly like about Center High School is that majority of the students that go there grew up together to become like a family. It's such a small school that everyone knows everyone, including staff. What I think that Center should improve is there communication between staff and students. Also, there could be more counselor's to help all of the students. I say this because there is only two and they are unable to provide students with the help that is needed. Another thing that I believe that needs to be improved is their way of prepping students for the future. Staff members have failed to reach out to students about what they need to do to be successful after they graduate. Center should have more classes that prep us for the future.

Overall Center High School is a great place for student. Many of the teachers, admin, and staff are active in many students lives and go above and beyond to make things happen. There is always an event or club going on. There have been new changes made that are improving the school but haven’t improved to the fullest extent yet. This school is very diverse being that many students from many different ethnicities come to learn in this school district. One of the best public schools in Kansas City, MO
The learning environment has been great, and I haven't had an issue with a teacher that I haven't been able to resolve. Administration changes during the last year or so have made students feel not as "at home" as they used to, due to beloved teachers leaving over not feeling heard with their concerns about said administration changes; I feel like losing those teachers lowered morale for some. But Center doesn't have any huge issues past that. It's an alright school on a scale of terrible to good, if we compare it to ones similar and not just the entire Kansas City metro area.
