Center Hill High School is just what it's most famous slogan says, Mustang Pride! Center Hill goes above and beyond to give opportunities to every student in the building. The school continues to add classes, clubs, and much more for all the current and future students that continue to pour in. Administrators and staff are heavily devoted to the betterment of the students and their environment. The only improvement would be more traditions for years to come.

I had a great experience at CHS. Both the facility and staff were supportive of the students current ambitions and success. They encourage students to participate in both academic and extra curriculum activities to ensure we were well rounded. The only improvement that I would recommend, will be more college readiness resources. Access to scholarship information and financial aid planning will be helpful during the junior year. College application process, essay development, and career readiness should be covered as well per senior year. Support and direction early could prevent senior year stress and burnout. Partnering with local non-profit organizations and companies to help promote college and career preparedness will be of value.
Center Hill High School is the epitome of the word “medium,” much like the town it inhabits. The school population is a little over 1,000, the education is good but nothing incredible, and it’s very passionate about its sports but less so about the arts. There are very minimal opportunities available to students when it comes to clubs, chances to earn scholarships, and ways to move up in the world, so the most that the majority of students can do is compete with themselves by maintaining the highest grades they can, hoping that’ll be enough to maybe get them some college cash. This schools gives its students and education but seems to forget to give them preparation for the future. It’s the one thing I really wish I had more of. Instead of having teachers and systems to rely on for information, I seek it myself, and now I’m here hoping for a chance.
