Center for Career and Technical Education Reviews
Attending this school has opened up amazing opportunities and I enjoyed most of my time here. Even though it is not diverse, me being the only African American female in all my classes. I don't regret attending this school, and graduating with not only a diploma, but also with a certified skill.
Instructors are very knowledgeable and help you prepare for your career or further education in the trades.
Teachers in the AP or upper level courses seem to be more prepared and have a more rigorous and structured course.
The Center for Career and Technology Education has multiple clubs. From guitar club to bicycling club many students participate. Also, for advanced placement classes after school meetings are held by teachers to be sure the students can pass the AP test. Teachers are willing to stay after school as long as it takes to expand learning opportunities after school. This school also has a club that every student is included in, skills usa. Each student competes in a competition their junior year and they also have the option to go to regionals and state level.
My whole family has came to this school. Since this school was first built they have had the best teachers and staff of many surrounding schools. The Center for Career and Technology Education is unique because they make sure each student has a plan for their life. They help with job applications and college applications. The whole school goes above and beyond to make sure we get the hands on training that is required for each skill. We have yearly competitions thay the competing students are well prepared for. This school has a great reputation and this is the best school to go to when wanting to immediately begin a career.
