Cedar View Christian School Reviews

I attended CVCS for 7 years. The elementary/middle school teachers are great but many of the HS teachers did not want to be there and you could tell it. The HS science/math teachers are great though. Being a smaller school, many teachers and students are related and there is favoritism going on & one high school teacher in particular doesn't really try to hide it & shows favoritism to their grandchildren. Honestly, I would not go back. I hated my high school years there. I have a sibling there & they hate it also & so do many others there. Honestly, the "Christian" in the school's name should be taken lightly. I know many kids that have come from public schools that said this school was just as bad. It's not unusual to hear vulgar jokes/cursing by the students. The high school Bible teacher has also been known to say some pretty inappropriate things in class that left parents stunned. My sibling said that the same teacher would laugh when some of the guys would cuss in P.E.

I went to Cedar View for 15 years and have nothing but good things to say. They turned me into the man I am today. I was sheltered from many sinful and worldly things that I would have been introduced to in a public school. The education is as good as you can get and they will also lead you in your spiritual growth also. I don’t know a single teacher there that wouldn’t give you the shirt off of their own back if you needed it. No where I would have rather gone.
