Cedar Ridge Academy Reviews

When we ran out of options to keep my daughter safe at home, we enrolled her in Cedar Ridge. She spent 10 months there receiving mental health therapy for emotional and behavioral issues. Many local therapy programs we looked at would not allow her to continue school. In addition to school, she had PE/sports, cared for animals, and tended a garden.

As a parent, I was deeply impressed with the dedication of the staff, the quality of the facility, and the level of communication about my daughter. I feel the 10 months my daughter was there not only kept her safe while she worked through her issues, but also taught her personal skills that have been life changing for her.

It has been almost a year now since she came home and while it hasn't been exactly smooth sailing, she has been able to move on with her life in a productive way and we have confidence in a solid future for her.

Cedar Ridge is a focused program where student success is a priority and faculty do a very good job of ensuring that students follow basic rules, and succeed. Often students come in behind sometimes a few years of school, staff are bale to help coach and guide the students to catch up to their class, often graduating earlier than usual.
It was a personalized experience and I got help when I needed it. I would change the fact that we did not get very many off campus opportunities.
