Cedar Park is a very accelerated high school. They strive to be the best and win in every category, whether it be academics, sports, the arts, helping the community, you name it! They will challenge you, and offer a wide variety of courses for all different interests. One of the best things about CPHS, is that they really do their best to prepare you for college, and to give you different opportunities to reach out, get involved, and explore different school activities and colleges that you might be interested in. However, they could improve some of their student care by paying more attention to students personal growth, and not just academic. Counselors need to step up as well. The science building stinks a lot, and the library is pretty strict.

I loved my experience at Cedar Park High School! The teachers were always friendly and helpful without hesitation. The sports and band were phenomenal, as reflected in their multiple state championships. The student body was very friendly and promoted a culture of growth and prosperity. I had wished that there was more diversity in the classroom, but the diversity of the school accurately reflectes the diversity of the city.
The variety of courses and graduation plans makes this school very desirable and helps students prepare for the career they desire to pursue. Overall, student life is very welcoming and the school provides many communities for students to feel welcomed in, whether it be in athletics, theater, band, and fine arts, the robotics and computer science community, FFCCA and Business organizations, PALS community, Dance team and cheer, as well as academic organizations. A few issues with the school would include the overall workload, stress level as the school's competitive nature adds pressure for students to attempt to obtain a good class rank within a large class body, and the lack of diversity within the school as the student body mainly consists of white Americans.
