My experience so far has been excellent! I've been blessed to know many kind peers, and great teachers, some of whom have become mentors. Most of the teachers are patient and kind, and the staff is also very friendly as well. I'm very blessed to surround myself in an environment where my peers take their academics very seriously, which motivates me as well to do well in school. The honor societies I'm involved in provide a perfect fit for anyone who enjoys community service, and the clubs at my school are excellent. The sports program is great as well if you want to get involved in athletics at CPHS.

Cedar Park is a very accelerated high school. They strive to be the best and win in every category, whether it be academics, sports, the arts, helping the community, you name it! They will challenge you, and offer a wide variety of courses for all different interests. One of the best things about CPHS, is that they really do their best to prepare you for college, and to give you different opportunities to reach out, get involved, and explore different school activities and colleges that you might be interested in. However, they could improve some of their student care by paying more attention to students personal growth, and not just academic. Counselors need to step up as well. The science building stinks a lot, and the library is pretty strict.
This school provided good courses and ample AP opportunities. I personally have been involved with the band program here, which won two state championships while I was attending and got 5th place in BOA Grand Nationals for marching band. The football team has also won a couple of championships, as well as our cheer-leading team and swim. Our school isn't super racially diverse, but we do have a large population of Asian heritage people. It is a friendly campus with many opportunities to get involved, through many honor societies to fun clubs like Harry Potter club, or Ping pong club. Academically, it isn't very rigorous and doesn't have IB programs, but will provide community college duel credits and many AP credits.
