I am currently attending Cedar Hill Collegiate High School. When it comes to reviewing my school, it is overall a great environment. The school has a small close community which allows for more one-on-one advisement. However, the school tends to struggle with communication and stability during changes. I would definitely recommend this program to other progressing scholars.
In Cedar Hill Collegiate High School, students are able to attainan associates degrees while getting their high school diploma. It is a heavy workload, but teachers will spend many hours to make sure students understand the topics. In addition, the school has several events in which students could have fun. The main issues with the school come in the form of communication. Events are given at the last possible minute and students are expected to show up as if they had information months prior.
The best part about Cedar Hill Collegiate High School is acquiring your associate's degree while still in high school. We concurrently attend Cedar Valley college while still get a high school experience. I love that the teachers push us in the right direction for college readiness and I can say that they have prepared me for so much. The main thing I would change about the school is the level of disorganization. There is so much more that could be accomplished if things were a little bit more organized and/or done in a more organized manner. Other than that there's not much I would change. Go Longhorns!
