Cedar Hill Collegiate High School is a 4-year early college high school that allows students to receive their Associate's degree while simultaneously receiving their high school degree. It is a great school filled with many opportunities, a great staff, and fun events. The school is well resourced and in many ways can be described as a "no child left behind" school. However, like any high school, there are flaws. To wit, the high school currently has little support for extracurricular activities or sports. The hardworking students and staff, however, are beginning to change this by introducing more clubs and, for the first time, creating sports teams different than the Cedar Hill High School teams.

In summation, Cedar Hill Collegiate High School is a comfortable, opportunistic high school that is working on improvement beyond the greatness of the school.

The people and teachers here are extremely supportive and they do everything that they can to insure their students an amazing future. The students are more like a family and they have pushed me to be a better version of myself, we help each other study and plan for exams and even help each other by proofreading essays. I am going to miss the different points of views of my classmates, but they have only prepared me for the outside world!
Something that I enjoyed about Cedar Hill Collegiate was the small environment that I could be apart of. I always felt as if I could come to the school as like it was my second home. Something that I would improve about the school and the district as a whole, was the overall communication between all of the participating schools within the district. Although the collegiate is separate from Cedar Hill High School, it would have still been nice to feel as if the two schools were more connected. Overall, Cedar Hill Collegiate allowed me to create many loving friendships in a safe environment, but it would not have hurt to be able to feel more connected with the other high schools within the Cedar Hill district.
