This is an excellent private Christian school. I went to many Christian schools growing up, am an educator, and know many parents past and present. The leadership is incredible and really has a focus on serving the students well and creating a strong school and spiritual climate. They also work hard to maintain high behavior and academic standards and I have heard many positive comments when parents compared it to other local schools. Their discovery and ACE programs designed to help struggling or advanced students are also unique since many private schools don't have those kinds of special programs.

Cedar Grove Christian Academy always gave off the right kind of vibe as soon as I would walk through the doors. The staff treated me like I was not just a student, but like I was family. Everyone looked out for eachother and there was never a time where I did not feel safe. Going to Cedar grove helped me to challenge myself in many ways. Whether it was through religion, academics, or self-evaluation, I always felt like I had something new to improve and to work on. Although a lot of amazing things happen at Cedar Grove, I do wish that the school could have prepared me for the real world. Being a Christian school was amazing, but I do not think the school preps you enough for going into a public high school, or the world in general. I feel like the staff is far too interested in keeping us in one spot, rather than teaching us how to handle being in different environments.
Cedar Grove was a great grade school. I found Christ and made life long friends. I also learned skills I still use in school today that some of my peers were never taught. The soccer team was amazing too. Through CGCA I became a well grounded person. One thing I would change is that the food wasn't the best.
