I'm currently a junior at C.E. Ellison High School and my experience has been wonderful! Sine my freshman year i have been surrounded by some of the best people i could've met. Most of the teachers and staff are kind and want to teach and help out. I've made great friends that i know will always be there for me. The school spirit here is like no other, the football games and spirit week are very fun! I love the environment at Ellison and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Rather than it feeling like a four-year sentence, my time at C.E Ellison High School was very pleasing. The teachers, students, and clubs made my journey a great high school experience. There are many clubs and activities students can join, so one could never feel misplaced. Ellison also allows students to create their clubs if the one they're interested in is nonexistent. Even though the school pushes students to get involved in sports and other activities, their primary focus is for students to succeed academically. This is evident, because of the mandatory UIL checks, which only allows "passing" students to participate in events. As an Ellison 2020 graduate, I would love to give this school a five-star rating, but the fights and breakouts that happen force me to give it four. Never do I fear my safety at the school, because of the officers and "APs", but I can't say it isn't a concern. Overall, this school is great for students who want to thrive academically and socially.
I am a senior going to Ellison High School, and I have had my fun there. Most of the teachers are really sweet, and they actually teach. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because sometimes its overcrowded, to where I can't even move in the hallways. Other than that, it is a good high school!
