Rigorous. Challenging. Inspiring. CM is an academic institution that stands with any school in the Greater Boston area. We emphasize relational learning, and we provide a liberal arts program with an emphasis on inquiry, collaboration, and innovation.

It’s a style of education that inspires learning in every single student. We motivate the students who have not yet maximized their potential, and push the top students to the next level.

We encourage learning by doing, and discovering by inquiring. Teachers don’t just challenge students. Students challenge themselves. They learn new ways to learn, and use the skills they develop to achieve uncommon success in a way that’s actually pretty common around here.

At CM, we are redefining rigor. We don’t judge an assignment’s merit by how long it takes students to complete. Instead, we ask students to ask big questions, research, present and defend their ideas, and apply principles they’ve learned.

We have been part of the Catholic Memorial community for 8 years and will continue to have a student there for another 5.... it just keeps getting better and better! The academic programs are excellent, not only do they prepare the students well, but the curriculum is relevant and thoughtful. The teachers truly know the students as individuals and provide encouragement for the students to excel in all areas. The administration is extremely organized and the parent communication is outstanding.

As a senior in Catholic Memorial School, I really enjoy the community in here. In CM, this all-boy school, it is incredibly easy to make friends because everyone is so nice to each other. CM fosters “love” in my heart and it encourages me to bring this “love” to the world in terms of helping people in communities. If you want to be a WELL-ROUNDED man with strong academic or athletic record, CM is going to be your top choice among ALL schools in the Boston Area!
CM is the perfect fit for my 8th grader. It emphasizes all the right things that young men should be taught: rigorous academics, character development, service to others, proper manners, love for and pride in your community, enjoyment of athletics and team-sports, involvement in extracurricular activities and clubs, and living a healthy, balanced, productive life. CM is also preparing him for adulthood, college and the jobs of the future.

Catholic Memorial offers a supportive environment where they encourage young men to take risks, get out of their comfort zone and try new things. It's also the perfect size, ensuring that your teachers, coaches, and classmates really get to know you. My son has made fast friends, likes his teachers and is "having fun" - he comes home happy.
