I believe that Catholic High is a special school. It has many endearing qualities that would draw a person in. I believe that Catholic High could do a better job with prioritizing Catholic-based activities and clubs, such as KAIROS, or FROSH. I also believe that they could do a better job in prioritizing sports other than Football, and distribute the funds equally. They do a very sufficient job at teaching at a college preparatory level, and there have been very successful people who come from Catholic High. Overall I believe that Catholic High is a good school with good opportunities.
Catholic High really is a place to grow. It is a small school with about 700 kids 4th-12th. You know everyone. After so long of being there and knowing everyone, it turns into a family. Some teachers look out for you like you are their child but a select few would like to see you suffer. The events held by Catholic High are always fun and it can definitely be considered a community-based school. They offer lots of chances to be prepared in college, like DE courses and the honors program.
Catholic High has a great atmosphere. As a student, I was able to do hands on experiments and am very involved in the school community. The school has a variety of different sports and clubs to participate in. During homecoming week, students are given many fun activities to participate in such as paint wars and manther (boys play volleyball) along with powder puff. The teachers strive to make sure each child is ready for college and has the best education. At Catholic High, it is more like family than it is school.
