Catholic High School is undoubtedly the greatest change in my life. I attended public schools from first through eighth grade. The transition from public to private school was tough at first, but with time, I have accustomed myself to the teaching strategies and learning curriculum of the private school structure. This school has changed not only who I am as a person, but has opened my eyes to the endless possibilities life has waiting for me.

I enjoy the sense of caring that comes from everyone involved at the school. Despite being one of the larger high schools in the state, every student feels like they are more than just a number. Also, the large dedicated amount of resources into all aspects of the school means that no matter what a student is interested in, they have the chance to enjoy that activity.
Catholic High has nurtured me over the past four years and has helped to develop me into the better man I believe I am today. Coming into Catholic, myself and many others around me were stuck-up, expecting everything from the world and offering nothing in return. The positive community based around the principles of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and nurtured by staff members and students alike has changed my mindset and made me feel welcome. In addition to the exemplary community, Catholic High has an outstanding education. I am confident that Catholic High will continue to be there for me when I graduate.

Because Catholic High is still a high school full of young students, it has its problem just as every school will. Also due to the high expectations imposed on Catholic High students, some teachers will forget that their students are still young and learning and will react severely to small mistakes and will be critical of students that struggle with making good decisions.
