Catholic High is a great school, in my experience I played lacrosse and participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club. As a lacrosse player we have gone to state twice and we won state last year. I have had many great experiences at Catholic High School but nothing compares to the attention you get as a student from the teachers and faculty. As a student, the teachers are always eager to help and are supportive of the hardships in your personal and academic journey.
Choosing to attend Catholic High School was one of best decisions we could have made for our son. He was provided the opportunity to attend CHS beginning in his 8th grade year. While he was the one who ultimately made the decision to spend his last year of middle school attending high school rather than staying at the middle school and friends he was so familiar with, we are extremely pleased with the decision. Challenging curriculum, exceptional faculty and staff, and an abundance of extra curricular activities have helped him to mature and grown into an independent young man. We will forever be grateful for the opportunity to attend CHS.
My experience here at Catholic High has had its ups and downs, and even though it isn't the worst school I have attended, it isn't the best either. It promotes good structure overall, but I feel as if they are a little too strict when it comes to appearance, especially with the shoes. As well, some of the teachers are very stubborn, and hate to admit when they've made a mistake, almost as if they hate the fact that they are called out when they begin to have a power-trip. Besides these issues I have with the school, everything else is great. The campus is nice, food is pretty good, and everyone is mostly nice to everyone else.
