Cathedral Middle and High School Reviews
Rating 4.16 out of 5 98 reviews
My experience at Cathedral is overall very good. I love how we are continuously learning about our religion. My school has church every week which is a great way for people who can’t go to church every Sunday to be exposed to God. The food at Cathedral is amazing, even after switching to free government lunches this past year, they still find ways to make the meals for enjoyable for every student and faculty member. I don’t have many bad things to say about Cathedral. Being here has taught me a lot and I’m glad I was given the opportunity to attend this school.
I have a ton of memories from high school, some being bad and good. I think that I honestly would have had a better time at high school if I had gone to a high school that had more classes that were in the career that I wanted to pursue, like agriculture classes, but in saying that I went to a high school that was in a very urban town. I am not saying that it is at all Cathedrals High School's fault, nor was it my parent's fault or even my fault. I have a reading and writing disability called dyslexia. Dyslexia is different for everyone who has it. However, I have really bad dyslexia. I did get special trouting for my dyslexia and CHS made sure that if I ever needed help reading a question on a test or homework assignment I got the help I needed.I guess what I am trying to say is that Cathedral High School is not a bad school at all, but for what career feild I knew what I wanted to go into, agriculture, Cathedral did not have any of those classes avaible.
This school has gone down hill dramatically in the 6 years that I attended. There is massive turnover and the teachers that they hire are not a good replacement with one exception. There is no good communication between parents and the school. However it is run by parents, as a senior you have to get a permission slip signed to watch mean girls it is ridiculous. I would recommend any of the near by public schools as they will give you more opportunities.
