They have excellent guidance counselor’s they provide a lot of information about any colleges you ask for. That’s what I liked about it and they also have other resources to help you out as well. They also don’t tolerate bullying, which is amazing! Everyone is treated the same, ever teacher believes in all of their students. No teacher hasn’t doubted a student. As a senior from my experience as a freshman year, I didn’t know anyone and the teachers and students made me feel comfortable and we all came as a family.

Cathedral is a very nice school but needs some work. This school is a place where morals and virtues are taught. This is why a significant change in behavior, to the better, is seen in a student by the time she starts her junior year. Students are disciplined and trained to develop good work habits. The school makes sure all students complete their Regents exams, and it offers an Advanced Honors Regents Diploma for Cathedralites who demonstrate academic excellence. Currently, Cathedral High School offers 9 AP courses and a variety of electives and extracurriculars. It is truly another home, filled with excellent teachers who are compassionate and considerate. If a student chooses to challenge herself, she can, at Cathedral.
Cathedral High School is a college preparatory school. The most important thing they taught me was that if I believe in something, I can become it. With all the various programs that they have in the school such as Medical Gateways and the Future Business Leaders of America, all the students can find an academic program that they can belong to. All interests are explored at Cathedral High School and I think that is a very unique trait for a school to have. In the city of Manhattan, no other school does this which is why the school has so many students. Nobody graduates Cathedral High School not knowing what they want to become in life. Cathedral tries their best to make sure that as students, once we go to college, we know exactly what we’re there for. Overall, there is nothing I would change about Cathedral. Without them, I would not be able to take the first step into the next phase of my life.
