Attending Cathedral High School for the last 4 years has been a wonderful experience for me. Cathedral has provided me with engaging lessons and assignments, and the ability to interact with my peers and highly skilled teachers. Cathedral High School has also allowed me to partake in a deep understanding of Catholicism and other religions so as to gain an insight into other peoples and their communities. I can honestly say that I made a great choice when my parent gave me the opportunity to choose between attending a public high school and Cathedral High School. Vive La Cate!
Cathedral High School is a Catholic high school that installs its students with Lasallian virtues and valuable academic education. It has allowed me to mature and become a person who not only has learned to treat others well, but due to the college readiness the school pushes, it has allowed me the opportunity to become more college-ready. Cathedral also sponsors a strong school spirit making you proud of assisting such a prestigious school. As the school is an all-boys school, it has allowed me to focus on my studies while simultaneously building strong bonds with my peers due to the sense of brotherhood the school promotes.
Something that really makes it stand out from other schools are the Lasallian Core principles, as a Lasallian Catholic school we are taught to follow the 5 Lasallian principles these being:
Faith in the Presence of God.
Concern for the Poor and Social Justice.
Respect for All Persons. ...
Quality Education. ...
Inclusive Community.
These principles hace truly made me the young man today, and I plan on carrying those principles throughout my life.
