I really love the amount of support and assistance that the faculty provides! The school has a lot of school spirit and we celebrate even the smallest accomplishments. I love the school assemblies and the activities and performances that go on during them. I really can't think of a complaint! This school is truly amazing and gives each and every student the same opportunities regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or social class!

Castle High School is a rare school that puts academics before anything else. Teachers at Castle, for the most part, show that they want to make a connection with his or her students. A lot of teachers are willing to go above and beyond to help those who are struggling and decide to seek help. There is a lot of variety to choose from but the guidance counselors help you plan out your path of courses. A lot of opportunities are given to all different kinds of students. I really love the motto, "Learn today so you can lead tomorrow," which is said over the intercom every morning. It's a very empowering school and the overall experience I've had due to the education standards as well as emphasis on serving the community make Castle High School a wonderful place to be. So much so that I hope to come back one day as a teacher!
During my time at Castle High School, I learned a lot academically and I learned a lot about myself. The faculty and administration at this school worked hard to maintain a public level of professionalism and academic proficiency but when it comes to feeling welcome they missed the mark. It was a very large high school and a lot of students get overlooked. I had good relationships with a few teachers but some of my teachers did not even know my name when I would see them outside of school. I had a hard time getting involved and feeling wanted at this school but I know for some their experience was the complete opposite. Overall I am grateful for the experience and the knowledge but in the future when I become a teacher I want to make a better impact on my students than I received here.
