Casa Grande High School is a school filled with diversity and opportunity. The school administrators are supportive of students’ ideas and work with the students to make Casa Grande a better place. There are many clubs, sports, and electives to get involved in. Since the school has a very large Spanish speaking population, it is now offering some classes, such as math, in Spanish to help the monolingual Spanish speaking students understand the curriculum and to give students who want to improve their Spanish more opportunities to do so. Casa Grande also offers many AP classes. The teachers are very kind and outgoing. The school feels very safe and there are a lot of resources, and always more in the process, for many different groups of students. There is also a clinic on campus. The food is pretty standard; however, they are starting to include more Latinx foods such as burritos, tamales, and popusas which is an example on how the school embraces its diversity.

Casa Grande High School is a highly inclusive, diverse, and highly esteemed school. There are countless classes that can pique the interest of many different personalities. Most of the teachers are very considerate, kind, and want to watch their students succeed. Overall, the school is great for prepping their students for college and has amazing programs for all students.
I think overall, I had an average experience with CGHS. Your experience will be based on what you make of it. I was involved with the performing art department quite a bit, and those were probably my fondest moments in high school. In saying that, I also think a lot of the programs are under-funded in comparison to the sports (which happens to be the case in most high schools). It's nothing fancy, it's not brand new, but it's a decent school. I loved the majority of my teaches there and I've known some people who got into very reputable schools after high school. It is all about how you apply yourself in academics and extra curriculum that'll make your experience worth while.
