I currently attend George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Scoence and am in the 10th grade. During my freshman year, I was expecting a dramatic difference from middle school, along with being in another school. This school made that transition feel smooth, and welcoming. The teachers are focused genuinely on our success and preparation for College. They show this by staying after school for extra tutoring, supporting us as students with inspirational conversations and constant reassurance that we can achieve. The curriculum challenges our limits and knowledge but only makes us more knowledgeable. In my opinion this has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life!
Review Carver High School
Within a year and months, Carver High School has been a wonder educational area. From the staff to the food, everything is done beautifully, providing me one of the best learning experiences in my life. The building has three floors, each with their own restrooms and computer labs. A clean gymnasium with mechanical basket ball nets, an auditorium, and a lunchroom with cooks who serve freshly cooked food.

Teachers are extremely knowledgeable and more, on their subjects, assist students who are having difficulties in a subject, and occasionally inform students of ways to improve their transcripts.

The equipment are new and updated. Chromebooks are plentiful with the addition of computers in labs. Notifications are easily found in the school's website. Work provided are reasonable and different classes are plentiful, giving students tons of choices.

If you are trying to find a high school, this is the perfect place for you.
Fantastic options for classes, extracurricular activities, honors and AP classes, and internships.

School culture is intimate, friendly, supportive, and has a no-tolerance policy for bullying or violence.

Academics are constantly improving as well as test scores while the expansion of the middle years program (7th and 8th grades) has reached a new level of leadership and assimilation into a college preparatory environment.
