I’ve been a student at carter g for half my junior year. If you only looking for a place to stay to make up credits then go back to the high school you were at this is a great charter school for that since it has an independent study program which you only go in twice a week...I’m giving 3 stars for the wonderful teachers they are very involved in their teaching and helping students and the nursing program (they also have other programs) has really taught me a lot and gave insight to what the career is all about. However their are some shady and messed up people at that school and if they don’t like you will try and get you in trouble it’s happned to my friends and I multiple times and I’ve nearly been suspended for something I had no idea about...also the administration seems to be racist to any one whos not black they even let those students where colors out of dress code and let them do whatever.. if none of this bothers you then you should be fine here.

I've really enjoyed my experience at this school. While the overall building is lackluster, the teachers and academics more than make up for it, and this is definitely the high school with the most parental involvement that I've ever seen, possibly do to it being K-12. I would highly recommend this school to any child that wants challenge themselves academically, and is looking for a school community that is looking out only for them and their success, both in their education and in the foreseeable future.
The school i was attending before carter g. Woodson was acel fresno. I attended from 9-10, late sophomore year the school was shut down due to financial problems. So i went to carter g woodson. Its a grate school, education wise , and staff was grate but alot of students, weren't appreciated of it, they had bad attitudes. They really lowerd the school. Besides a few students, its a great school.
